How to reset Android Mobile Screen Lock?
If you have forgotten your Android mobile screen lock, there are a few ways to reset it:
Method 1: Use your Google Account
- Enter the wrong password or pattern on your lock screen multiple times until you see a message saying "Forgot password?" or "Forgot pattern?".
- Tap on the option and you will be prompted to enter your Google account username and password.
- Follow the instructions on the screen and enter the information correctly.
- Once you've entered the information, you will be prompted to create a new lock screen pattern or password.
Method 2: Use Android Device Manager
- Go to Google's Find My Device website (https://www.google.com/android/find).
- Sign in using your Google account credentials.
- Find your Android device on the list and click on "Lock" or "Secure Device".
- Enter a new password or pattern and click "Lock" or "Secure Device" again.
- Your Android device should now be locked with the new password or pattern.
Method 3: Use Factory Reset Note: This method will erase all data on your device.
- Turn off your Android device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up, Home, and Power buttons simultaneously until the device vibrates and the Android logo appears.
- Use the volume buttons to select "Wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to confirm.
- Use the volume buttons to select "Yes - delete all user data" and press the Power button to confirm.
- Wait for the device to reset and then select "Reboot system now".
- Your Android device should now be reset to its factory settings and the lock screen should be removed.
